Constitutional Carry Coming Soon

Constitutional Carry Coming Soon

Dear Second Amendment Supporter,

Thank you so much for signing your Petition to Pass Constitutional Carry in North Carolina!

North Carolina Firearms Coalition (NCFC) is working around the clock to make sure a clean Constitutional Carry bill is introduced at the Capitol in Raleigh.

I have good news to report . . .

Soon, State Representative Chris Millis (R-Hampstead) will be introducing Constitutional Carry legislation!

Constitutional Carry would make the Concealed Handgun Permit in our state optional in order to carry open or concealed, just like it’s done in 11 states (and growing) across the country.

You and I shouldn’t be forced to pay the government in order to exercise our Second Amendment rights.

Many have asked me: How will we get this done with a Democrat governor who would likely veto this legislation?

The answer is simple — Republicans have veto-proof majorities in both Houses of the North Carolina General Assembly.

Republicans in Missouri did just that last year, becoming the 11th Constitutional Carry state.

If Cooper were to veto Constitutional Carry, it could be overridden by Republicans.

Notice that word there: COULD.  There is a big fight before us.

Once Rep. Millis’ bill is introduced, it’s vital you contact your legislators asking them to cosponsor his legislation and publicly support it.

There’s much work to be done between now and then.

For now, I’m asking you to get more North Carolina Second Amendment supporters involved in the fight for Constitutional Carry.

Please forward this email to your family and friends and ask them to sign the petition below.  We will deliver it for them at the Capitol.

  1. This is long overdue the right to legally bear arms to protect family and property and to not be penalized because something concealed it in the front seat
