Call the SB 50 Vote.
SB 50 has been sitting as unfinished veto business while politicians in Raleigh have repeatedly avoided taking the final recorded vote.
It was on the House calendar again as recently as August 5. The House passed the bill 59–48 on June 11, 2025. The Senate overrode Stein’s veto 30–19 on July 29, 2025.
Now the House is coming back into session Monday, August 31 at noon, and veto overrides are specifically among the matters that can be considered.
There is no procedural reason to delay this vote again.
They already considered it. They already debated it. They already voted on it. The Governor vetoed it. The Senate overrode him.
The only question left for every House member is simple: are you willing to put SB 50 on the floor and call the vote, or are you going to keep hiding behind leadership?
Cut the crap. Put everyone on the record.
If you support permitless carry, demand that House leadership schedule SB 50 and vote YES to override Governor Stein.
If there are not enough votes, North Carolinians deserve to know that too, before the November election.
Use the form to email your State Representative. Tell them to put SB 50 on the floor, call the override vote, and go on the record.
Share this page with every gun owner you know and ask them to contact their State Representative too.
After you send your message, please consider making a contribution to North Carolina Firearms Coalition so we can keep the pressure on House leadership before they reconvene Monday.
