H.R. 7166, now in the House Judiciary Committee, would end ammo orders shipped to your door, end private ammo sales between North Carolinians, require photo ID in person and report anyone who buys more than 1,000 rounds in five business days. North Carolina Firearms Coalition is asking gun owners to tell North Carolina’s members of the U.S. House to oppose it.

There’s a bill sitting in Congress that would end ammo orders shipped to your door.
It’s H.R. 7166. It was introduced in January and sent to the House Judiciary Committee. Here is what it would do to North Carolina gun owners.
Only federally licensed dealers could sell ammunition. Private sales between North Carolinians would be over.
Every buyer would have to show photo ID to a dealer in person. That’s the end of ordering online and having it shipped home.
Buy more than 1,000 rounds in five business days, and you’d be reported to the Attorney General and to state or local police.
Stocking up for the range shouldn’t land your name in a police file. This is federal gun control, plain and simple, and the politicians behind it are counting on gun owners to stay quiet.
Add your name and tell North Carolina’s members of the U.S. House you expect them to oppose H.R. 7166.
