The Senate overrode the Freedom to Carry NC veto, but the House still hasn’t finished the job, so permitless concealed carry still isn’t law in North Carolina. I want to lay out exactly where Freedom to Carry NC stands, because the politicians in Raleigh are counting on you not knowing.

Where Freedom to Carry NC stands

• The veto: Freedom to Carry NC passed and got vetoed.
• Senate: the Senate did its job and overrode it.
• House: the House still hasn’t finished the job.
• Where that leaves you: permitless concealed carry for eligible adults still isn’t law in North Carolina.

Now the same politicians who left that job unfinished are going to ask gun owners for their votes and another term. Weak Republicans are hoping you forget the stall, and the Radical Left is going to spend every day between now and November telling voters that your right to defend yourself is the problem.

Absentee ballots have already been mailed, in-person early voting runs October 15 through October 31, and Election Day is November 3. That’s a short window for the Coalition to identify gun voters, expose who stalled Permitless Carry, and run district-targeted ads before people vote.

Our End-of-Quarter deadline is tomorrow at midnight, and if we close short, we’ll have to scale back the ads, mail, texts, and voter contact that make betrayal politically expensive. So I’m asking you to chip in $15 before tomorrow at midnight and help carry this fight straight into the voting booth.
